Proud to be raised and educated in EPISD!
I am a proud product of EPISD. I attended Burnet Elementary, Bassett Jr. High, and Irvin High School.
As a student of EPISD I was provided with a well rounded education that included learning the three R's , opportunities to learn languages and explore cultures, a curriculum enhanced by fine arts and athletics and the advantage of working with some fabulous educators. Although I had many wonderful teachers, my 8th and 9th grade Spanish teacher, Tita Yanar can be credited for my career in eductation.
I received a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Master of Education at The University of Texas at El Paso. My certifications are Kindergarten through Eighth Grade General Education, Kindergarten through Twelfth Grade Special Education and Bilingual Education/ESL, and Educational Diagnostician.
This is my 29th year as an educator.
